PURPOSE:To simplify and facilitate car running operation by providing a locking mechanism, which gives lockable resistance against a restoring mechanism to a speed change pedal and which can release the resistance to the speed change pedal by operating a brake pedal, between the speed change pedal and brake pedal. CONSTITUTION:When a speed change pedal 3 is stepped, the car runs according to the speed change operation of a hydraulic transmission 1, and while the car runs at a required speed, even if released, the speed change pedal 3 is locked due to an interlocking mechanism 5 keeping the car speed change attitude unchanged. Therefore, a required car speed is maintained constant. In the next step, since when the brake pedal 4 is stepped, the lock of the speed change pedal 3 is released due to the interlocking mechanism 5, the speed change pedal 3 is restored to a speed change neutral attitude due to a restoring mechanism 2, and the car is also braked. Such work makes it unnecessary to always step the speed change pedal down during running and to release a car speed keeping mechanism during the operation of the brake pedal 4. Therefore, running operation can be simplified and facilitated. |
