Substituted N-hydroxypyrazoles of the general formula I where R1, R2 and R3 are identical or different and are hydrogen, alkyl, haloalkyl, cycloalkyl, alkoxycarbonyl, halogen, aryl or arylalkyl, the aromatic ring being unsubstituted or substituted, or R2 and R3 form, with the pyrazole ring, a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic or aliphatic ring, X is CH or N, and their plant-tolerated acid addition salts and metal complexes, and fungicides containing these compounds.
