The control circuit has 3 heating resistances (12,13,14) for the cooking plate connected to form a main heating stage (12,13) and an auxiliary heating stage (14). The main heating stage (12,13) is supplied by a power control device (30), in response to the selected heating load provided in a manual setting knob (22) with an auxiliary switch contact (23) switching in the auxiliary heating stage (14) when the setting knob (22) is moved into the max heating load position, or the max heating load range. Pref. a temp. limiting device (17) is incorporated in at least one of the heating resistance supply leads (4). |
