PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a water draining operation by a doctor or nurse by exchanging a shuttle gas with a fresh gas by a shuttle gas exchanging means when a steam quantity measuring means which detects the steam quantity in the shuttle gas detects a prescribed quantity of the steam. CONSTITUTION:The shuttle gas is filled in blood pump equipment 4. A positive pressure and a negative pressure are alternately supplied by a positive/negative pressure generator 31 to the blood pump equipment 4. Further, the quantity of the steam in the shuttle gas is detected by the steam quantity measuring means 35 consisting of a timer. The shuttle gas is exchanged with the fresh gas in the shuttle gas exchanging means consisting of an electronic controller 32 and a helium feeding/discharging device 34 when the steam quantity measuring means 35 detects the prescribed quantity of the steam. Consequently, the operation for draining the water by the doctor or nurse is eliminated. |
