PURPOSE:To permit a satisfactory airtightness to be retained over an extended period of time by providing a viscous sealing agent between the contact faces of the peripheral edge of the opening part of a container and a packing. CONSTITUTION:After a sealing container has been filled with its contents, a cap 20 thereon is tightened to permit a container 10 to be sealed in such manner that the peripheral edge 11b of the opening part 11 of the container 10 bites slightly into a packing 31. At this time, since the sealing agent 31a applied to the underside of the packing 31 exists between the contact faces of the peripheral edge of the opening part 11 and the packing 31, even if the pressure of the contact with the packing 31 is reduced due to the creeping of the packing 31, the airtightness of the container is not destroyed and, therefore, a satisfactory airtightness can be retained over an extended period of time. |
