<p>PURPOSE:To quickly and certainly perform phase mating between a drive gear and a drive transmission gear and the switching operation of drive gears by providing an elastic member at a location between transmission gears and by making drive gears press to each other or a frame and a drive gear. CONSTITUTION:When the side face of a slide gear 34 and the side face of an ASF output gear 42 is abutted to each other, they will not move further, but a cap carriage 23 surely moves to the specified position. When a feed motor is driven to rotate the slide gear 34 by the extent of 1 tooth, since the slide gear 34 is pressed to the ASF output gear 42 by the elastic force due to the bending of a leaf spring 37, the slide gear 34 is slid to completely mesh with the ASF output gear 42 when their phase are mated with each other. Thus, the phase mating between the drive gear and drive transmission gear and the switching operation of drive gears can be quickly and certainly performed.</p> |
