The actuator comprises a housing, mountable in a support wall, and a hollow plunger resettable by a spring, with plunger out end forming a push-button with inner illumination. A coupling comprises several plug positions for retaining parallel, adjacent disc-shaped elements, forming switching members with a slidable element actuatable by the plunger. The switch comprises contact sets, or a light source with a lamp socket. The moving elements (15,19) of the disc-shaped members (10-12) are interconnectable. The lateral surfaces of the mobile elements, parallel to the disc plane, are pref. fitted with recesses and/or protrusions at right angles to the disc plane, for engagement of the respective recesses.
