PURPOSE:To allow the recovering of an optical fiber cable without damaging the cable by forming a lancing part to a pipe which is stopped in rotation and then tearing the pipe to >=2 parts along the lancing part. CONSTITUTION:The pipe 2 which is let out from a delivery device 30 is introduced between a guide roller 32 and a cutter 33 and between a guide roller 34 and a cutter 35 into a guide holder 36. Perpendicular plane parts 2a, 2a are formed on both side parts of the pipe 2 by the cutters 33, 35 during this time. The pipe 2 arrives at the spacing between V-blocks 37a and 37a of a cutter device 37 and the lacing part 2b is formed in the plane parts 2a, 2a by cutting blades 37b, 37b. The pipe 2 is torn longitudinally to two parts; upper and lower parts by winders 40, 40. The torn pieces 2A, 2A are taken up by the winders 40, 40 to expose the optical fiber cable 5. The optical fiber cable 5 is taken up by a take-up device 31 and is thereby recovered without being damaged at all. |
