<p>An ink-jet recording head for jetting ink by imparting heat energy to the ink, wherein heaters (8a, 8b) for keeping a substrate warm are provided on the substrate (1) provided with a jet heater unit (6) as a group of jetting heaters (5) generating heat energy at both sides of the jet heater unit (6) as well as sensors (2a, 2b) for sensing the temperature of the substrate are provided. The sensors (2a, 2b) are disposed in such positions that lengths of time, during which temperature variations exhibit influences when certain fixed jetting heaters only are driven and when the warmth keeping heaters (8a, 8b) only are driven, respectively, are approximately equal to each other. Temperature of the recording head can be controlled with high precision and excellent responsiveness, and stably with such arrangement as above.</p> |
