<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the size of paper tray and to facilitate the handling of paper by projecting a 1st paper discharge tray in a transporting direction and a 2nd discharge tray in the direction orthogonal with the transporting direction to the max. extent according to paper sizes. CONSTITUTION:The 1st paper discharge tray 23 is provided movably forward and backward in a projecting position where the the paper discharged in the lower part on the left side of a housing 1 is received and housed and a storage position where the paper is withdrawn into the housing 1. The tray 23 is constituted movably by a driving mechanism 271 between the storage position and the projecting position. Further, the 2nd discharge tray 232 is imposed movably vertically on the tray 23. The tray is projected on the downstream side of the transporting direction to the max. extent from the paper discharge position of the image forming device by a driving means 27 regardless of the sizes of the paper. Further, a 2nd driving means is driven to project the 2nd discharge tray 232 to the max. extent to the front side of the image forming device in the direction orthogonal with the transporting direction. The paper is then orderly imposed and, therefore, the size of the paper tray is reduced and the handling is facilitated.</p> |
