<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the liquid crystal display panel which is small in display quality deterioration due to impurity contamination of liquid crystal by providing an adsorptive material in no-picture-element areas such as data bus lines and scan bus lines as areas between picture elements in contact with liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION:The adsorptive material made of magnesium MgO 11 is interposed in the parts of a data bus line 3 and a scan bus line 4 which contact the liquid crystal. For example, when a picture element is 20 mum square, bus lines present longitudinally and laterally between picture elements are about 20 mum wide an when the number of picture elements of the panel is 640 X400, the adsorptive material, i.e. MgO 11 is provided on about 20% of the panel. At this time, MgO 11 is adhered by a heat-resistance vapor-depositing method under 5 X 10<-3> Toor by growth to 1000Angstrom thickness. Consequently, the ability to adsorb impurities which are eluated in the crystal is increased and the liquid crystal display panel which reduces deterioration in display quality is obtained.</p> |
