For the durable and largely painless removal of body hair, the hairs are effectively seized by a plucking device and jerked out. The device can perform both individual and continuous plucking operations and can be supplemented by an attachment for gripping the hairs more rapidly. The plucking device is also suitable for the electrical destruction of hair roots. Operation may be manual, by a rotary motor or by a simple electromagnet. |
