The oil press controller comprises a microprocessor (153), a circuit for detecting oily seeds e.g. sesame, perilla, a circuit for sensing the oil press temperature, and a circuit for switching a motor power. It the oil press is switched on, a built-kin program of the microprocessor orders the circuit to detect if the oily seeds are supplied in the press, an oil press cylinder is pre-heated to a reference temperature, and the oil pressing starts through the motor power switching circuit. During oil pressing, the cylinder temperature is regulated by continuously sensing the temperature and heating the cylinder to the reference temperature.
