PURPOSE:To prevent the depth of field from narrowing and to surely perform focusing by using a zoom lens so that a printed photograph whose printing magnification is high may be generated and making the stop value of the zoom lens larger as the magnification becomes higher when a photographic frame is printed and exposed at the specified printing magnification. CONSTITUTION:At the time of starting printing after setting a negative film 11 on a film carrier 10, the 1st frame of the film 11 is located at the printing position based on the detection signal of an image sensor 12. In the middle of feeding a film, trimming magnification information 14 is also read and trans mitted to an exposure arithmetic operation part 23 and a controller 22. Based on the trimming magnification, the controller 22 adjusts a printing lens 40 at a specified focal distance through a lens driving part 42 and obtains the stop value corresponding to the trimming magnification from a lookup table memory 56 to control a diaphragm adjusting part 44. Thereafter, three-color separation photometry is performed at respective points by using a scanner 49 and exposure is decided by the exposure arithmetic operation part 23 according to the output from a characteristic value calculation part 50. |
