<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the occurrence of jitter and to secure satisfactory tracking precision by reducing the gain of an ATF (automatic tracking follow-up system) error signal to be the factor of the occurrence of jitter. CONSTITUTION:The output side of an ATF sensor signal generating circuit 1 which generates a tracking error signal based on the pilot signal regenerated from a video tape in order to control the tracking of a reproducing head provided on a VTR is connected to an attenuator 2. The attenuated ATF error signal is connected from the output side of the attenuator 2 to not only a microcomputer 4 through an A/D converter 3 but also a MIX amplifier 6, and a voltage to control the rotation of a capstan motor is sent to a capstan motor driving part 7. The attenuator 2 attenuates the gain of the ATF error signal to suppress the occurrence of jitter at the time of reproducing information recorded on a recording medium. Thus, the tracking precision is secured without increasing the gain of the ATF system unnecessary, and jitter is improved.</p> |
