PURPOSE:To improve thermal diffusivity, a hue, heat resistance and light resistance by forming a layer containing a specific compound onto a support. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer material has an ink layer including a cyan dyestuff composed of a compound shown in formula on a support. The ink layer is shaped in such a manner that the dyestuff is dissolved into a solvent together with a binder or dispersed in a particulate form into the solvent, ink is prepared, the upper section of the support is coated with ink and ink is dried. A cellulose group polymer, a polyacrylic acid group polymer, etc., can be exemplified the binder and water, alcohols, etc., as the solvent. A material having dimensional stability and resisting heat at the time of recording in a thermal head is quoted as the support, and thin paper such as condenser paper, glassine paper, etc., a heat-resistant plastic film such as polyethylene terephthalate, polyamide can be used. |
