A protective cover (12) is provided for an electric razor (1) with upper and lower cutters (2, 3) of a swivelling cutter head (4) supported by two side pieces (6). The cover (12) has fitting elements which grip in corresp elements on the razor (1) and fixes the swivelling head (4) in a fixed position. USE - Fixes head in locked position and protects upper cutter from damage.
