<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the product cost and the load to be inflicted on a designer by complementing a timer function just with a programming operation and with use of an unused serial transmission circuit. CONSTITUTION:Two stepping motors 8 and 10 are used for timer process systems and a 1-chip microprocessor 1 which controls both motors contains only a single timer circuit 3. Thus a single timer function is short. Under such conditions, only one unused serial transmission circuit 4 if available is used to complement the short timer function. Thus the timer functions can be increased via the software. Then it is not required to connect separately a timer circuit to the microprocessor 1 nor to replace this microprocessor with another one that contains two timer circuits. As a result, the production cost is reduced and the designer load is also reduced.</p> |
