PURPOSE:To generate a reproduced picture with excellent quality by discriminating the correlation between a code line and a reference line depending on 2-dimensional position information. CONSTITUTION:A code data is inputted to a modified read(MR) code interpretation section 6, in which the interpretation such as discrimination of each mode, detection of a moving quantity of a changing point and count of a run length is implemented based on a change point of the reference line from a change point extraction section 7. The output from the modified read(MR) code interpretation section 6 is supplied to the change point extraction section 7 and a reduction processing section 8 and the change point extraction section 7 generates position information of a change point of the reference line for a succeeding code data based on the fetched data from the MR code interpretation section 6. The output from the MR code interpretation section 6 is fed to the reduction processing section 8 simultaneously and the reduction processing is implemented in response to the reduction rate based on the data such as a run length in the reference line from the change point extraction section 7 and an image data is reproduced. Thus, the reproduced picture with excellent quality is obtained. |
