<p>PURPOSE:To avoid the lowering of an engine output, even when a rise of a filter temperature is restricted, by closing or opening a main pipe closing valve, based on a prescribed mode or a filter temperature, when the particulate is burnt. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas switching valve 4 is installed at a branch part 3c, which is on the upstream side to both an main exhaust pipe 3a, which is attached with a firing device 1 and a filter 1 that collects the particulate discharged from a diesel engine, and a sub-exhaust pipe 3b, which is installed so as to make a detour round the main exhaust pipe 3a and which splits the exhaust gas into two ways. A control part 9 adjusts from time to time the amount of oxygen passing through the filter 1 by closing or opening the exhaust gas switching valve 4, based on a prescribed mode, when the particulate is burnt by the firing device 7. With this contrivance, since a rise of the temperature of the filter 1 can be restricted without adopting recirculation of the exhaust gas, lowering of an engine output can be avoided.</p> |
