PURPOSE:To raise mechanical strength by being a state such that a plurality of elongation-treated resin stripes repeat meanderingly contact-separation each other in order to form meshes, and the cross-sectional shape of each contact part in which two stripes join forms the figure of 8, and further, each thickness of two stripes at the contact point is equal to that of the non-contact part. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of stripes of molten resin are extruded at equal distances and in two parallel raws on rotating receiving rolls 1, and either resin raw 2a or resin raw 2b is vibrationally moved for making the resin raw meander corrugatedly on the surfaces of the receiving rolls 1, furthermore, the respective resin raws 2a, 2b are made to repeat themselves contact- separation on the receiving rolls 1 in order to form a preliminary net 5a of the molten resin. The preliminary net 5a of the molten resin formed in this fashion is rolled into the gap of rotating sizing roll 7 situated in the roll gap of 1.1-0.3 times to the thickness of each stripe in the resin raws and subjected to sizing thereafter, and then the net obtained herein is passed through a cooling bath 7 and cooled and hardened therein. Whereby mesh-like matter can be manufactured, which is excellent in its weatherability and mechanical strength. |
