PURPOSE:To improve elasticity and heat resisting property of base material and seal performance by adhering seal material to the sewing part of an air bag main body, and forming the seal material out of base material of a specific film having a certain specific gravity and an adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:An air bag main boy 1 is formed into a bag having an opening 2, and a plurality of piece members 3 are sewn together with sewing thread 4. In this case, seal material 6 adheres to the sewing part 5 inside the air bag main body 1. The seal material 6 is formed into a flat lengthy space laminating base material 7 and adhesive layer 8. As the base material, unburned polytetrafluoethylene porous film having the specific gravity 1.0-1.8 is used. Hereby, elasticity and heat resisting property of the base material 7 is improved, hence follow-up property against expansion and heat generation of the air bag main body 1 is improved, and always sufficient seal function is insured. |
