PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire capable of improving durability without reducing productivity of a steel cord.SOLUTION: Provided is the pneumatic radial tire having a belt layer 6 including plural reinforcement cords. The reinforcement cords of the belt layer 6 are formed of a steel cord 10 formed of n core filaments 11 (n=1-3) which are not twisted and m sheath filaments (m=5-7) which are twisted around the core filaments 11, and the core filaments 11 have tensile strength of 3800 MPa or more, and the sheath filaments 12 have tensile strength of 2800-3600 MPa. |
