PURPOSE: To position a tool in a bend of small curvature constructing an elongated transfer member of a metal cable, a flexible peripheral sheath having outside diameter smaller than the inside diameter of a tube in a bundle, and a plurality of annular members having inside diameter larger than the outside diameter of the sheath and outside diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the tube. CONSTITUTION: An elongated transfer member 30 is made coaxially and comprises a central part 31 of metal cable, a flexible plastic sheath 32 arranged around the part 31, and an assembly of annular members passed therethrough. The annular members 33 arranged around the central part guide the elongated member when it passes through a tube 3. These annular members do not cause damage on the inner surface of the tube and conform to the curvature at a bend 4 by pivoting slightly. They abut on the inner surface of the tube 3 along a generator 52 directed to be aligned perfectly with the curve thus ensuring guidance of the elongated member effectively in the tube 3. |
