PURPOSE:To correct the direction of a tunnel drilling machine instantaneously by providing a movable plate to a rack, and installing an optical device which has a light emitting device and a light wave range finder on the movable plate so that the device is in the direction opposite to a reference point. CONSTITUTION:The rack 10 is arranged in a tunnel so that the axial line of its shaft rod 20 pierces the reference point O. The optical device 12 has the light emitting device 12a such as an He-Ne laser oscillator and the light wave range finder 12b having a transmission part which transmits laser light and a reception part which receives said laser light transmitted by the transmission part, reflected by an object, and returned thereto, and is mounted on the movable plate 30 while facing in the direction opposite to the shaft rod 20 of the rack 10. Consequently, direction displacement or a displacement angle is detected almost without stopping when the body to be measured is a tunnel drilling machine, and the direction is therefore corrected instantaneously. |
