<p>PURPOSE:To shorten timer processing over head by finding the succeeding output status of a timer before the generation of timer interruption and outputting the previously found value at the genration of timer inerruption to complete the timer processing. CONSTITUTION:A timer controlling device is provided with a processing device 1, a timer output table 2, a timer counting table 3, a common bus 4, a local processing device 5, an interface 6, a timer output set-up table 7, and a local bus 8. The local processing device 5 can access the contents of the timer counting table 3 and the timer output table 2 through the interface 6 without interrupting the operation of the processing device 1. The local processing device 5 finds the succeeding output status of the timer before the generation of timer interruption on the basis of the accessed contents, and the found output status is stored in the timer output set-up table 7.</p> |
