PURPOSE:To obtain the subject yarn having excellent in sewing under high tension by subjecting multifilament yarn of synthetic fiber to agitating treatment with fluid, converging, applying resin solution, heat-treating, winding to a dying bobbin at a constant winding density and dying. CONSTITUTION:Multifilament yarn Y of synthetic fiber composed of polyamide, polyester or polyolefin, etc., is introduced to air-jet nozzle 2 and subjected to agitating treatment with fluid with overfeeding between delivery rollers 3 and the nozzle 2, then converged. Next, a resin solution is applied to the converged yarn Y by a resin roller 4 and the yarn is heat-treated by a heater 5 to fix said resin. Then, said resin-fixed yarn Y is wound to a dyeing bobbin using a winding roller 8 at 0.10-0.30 winding density, thus further dyed to afford the aimed sewing yarn having excellent resistance to break even in sewing under high tension and high speed. |
