PURPOSE:To obtain a film having excellent printing characteristics by coating at least one side of a transparent film with polyolefin resins. CONSTITUTION:As transparent films for a base material, polyethylene terephthalate films are most desirable from the viewpoint of strength and heat resistance. As materials for polyolefin resin phase to be provided on the surface of film, ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer, ethylene-sodium acrylate copolymer, ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer etc., can be used. The coating method is such that a polyolefin film is stuck to a polyethylene terephthalate film with adhesives or a solution or dispersed liquid of polyolefin resin is applied to the surface of polyethylene terephthalate film and dried to form a film. In this manner, ink can firmly be adhered on the surface of film. |
