PURPOSE:To prepare a polyester compsn. useful for producing a molding such as a fiber, film, etc., excellent in the durability, antistatic properties, sweat- absorbing properties, and stain resistance by compounding a specified amt. of a water-insol. polyoxyethylene polyether into an arom. polyester. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. arom. polyester (e.g. polyethylene terephthalate) is compounded with 0.2-30 pts.wt. polyoxyethylene polyether pref. of the formula [wherein Z is an org. residue having 1-6 active hydrogen atoms; R<1> is 6C of higher, optionally substd. alkylene; R<2> is H, 1-40C monovalent hydrocarbon group, 2-40C monohydroxyl hydrocarbon group, or 2-40C monovalent acyl group; k is 1-6; l is such an integer that kXl>=70; and m>=1]. |
