PURPOSE:To enhance printing characteristics and prolong useful life, by providing on a base the first ink layer comprising a filler having the first particle size and the second ink layer comprising a filler having the second particle diameter different from the first particle diameter. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate adhesive layer 3 of a mixture of arbitrary amounts of a polyester resin, a polyamide resin, a carbon black containing resin and a solvent is provided on a polyester base 2 by coating and drying. An ink comprising a particulate filler with a larger particle diameter is applied to the layer 3, followed by drying to provide an ink layer 4 comprising the filler with the larger particle size. Further, an ink comprising a particulate filler with a smaller particle diameter is applied to the ink layer 4, followed by drying to provide an ink layer 5 comprising the filler with the smaller particle diameter. A printing paper 6 is fed out to a position for making contact with the ink layer 5 by operating a platen 7, and the ink is transferred onto the paper 6 under the heat supplied from a head 1, thereby printing. |
