PURPOSE:To attain synthesis of complicated waveform by using a pulse train comprising plural pulses as a drive source for the synthesized tone. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer system 40 indexes a sound source pulse train and an LPC coefficient from tables 5, 6 of a storage device based on present number of revolution information and throttle opening information and inputs the result to a transversal filter 9. The transversal filter 9 synthesizes synthesis sound signals based on them and the signal passes through a D/A converter 10 and a low pass filter 11 and is outputted as a control acoustic wave by an audio amplifier 12 and a speaker 13. Thus, both the sound component due to the resonance in the natural frequency vibration of a machine and the harmonic component varied with number of revolutions are synthesized with delicate sound quality expression in response to the state of the load and number of revolutions and a simulated in-cabin sound with high approximation degree is obtained. |
