Apparatus for mixing multi-component plastics

The apparatus for mixing and filling multi-component mixtures into moulds or the like comprises a mixing head (1), which can be moved back and forth between a filling position (C) and a basic or waiting position (B). During its return movement from the filling position into the basic position, the mixing head is led past a cleaning device, which comprises an advancing device (3). This advancing device (3) has an advanceable cleaning strip (4) of plastic, which for cleaning is virtually fixed in place. The return movement of the mixing head at the lowest possible level is utilised in order to move the end face on the mixing head outlet to be cleaned over a section of the cleaning strip (4). When the mixing head has reached its basic position (B), the strip can be advanced in order to prepare a new, clean section. <IMAGE>
