<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operation efficiency of a system by generating a robot command data selection signal through a numerical controller, and then offering robot services based upon robot command data which corresponds to said selection signal through a robot controller. CONSTITUTION:When a work is sent, the shape and size of the work are detected by a work discriminator WKD, which outputs a work discrimination signal WDS. This signal is read by a processor MPUN to store the starting address of a work program in the pointer in a working memory WMN, and a robot command data discrimination signal is read out of a data memory DMN that the pointer indicates, and then read by the processor MPUR of a robot controller RCU through a data transfer line DTL. The processor MPUR stores the starting address of a data memory which corresponds to a program number in the working WMR, and performs desired work and robot services on the basis of data read out of addresses that the memory WMR indicates.</p> |
