PURPOSE: To judge whether a valve functions normally when an engine is stopped by operating a diagnosis key for a comparatively long predetermined period of time or a short period of time and automatically keeping the operation of the key so as to actuate an electromagnetic safety shut-off valve. CONSTITUTION: In a vehicle loaded with a diagnosis interface, for executing an electromagnetic safety shut-off valve test via a diagnosis device, first an engine is started, subsequently a diagnosis key is operated over a comparatively long period of time, for example 20 to 30 seconds, and if the engine does not stop, the diagnosis key is operated over at longest one minute. Further, if the engine does not stop ever after this one minute, an electromagnetic safety shut- off valve is judged to be in trouble. When there is a request of the electromagnetic safety shut-off valve test from the diagnosis interface or when an engine rotates during maintenance inspection, the diagnosis key 20 is operated by a maintenance operator for a comparative long period of time, particularly until the engine stops. |
