The suspended seat shell is always brought into the vertical position by the driver's weight. Conventional seats without means for compensating for travel on slopes are always at right angles to the vehicle. Hence the driver always has the edge for a vertical posture, curvature of the spine inevitably occurs when travelling on slopes. The "swinging seat" adjusts automatically to the natural, vertical posture on account of the weight of the driver.
