<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the deposition of scales on the surface of a carrier and to eliminate trouble due to scaling by depositing the scale due to the supersaturated Mg<2+> ion in waste water in a scale deposition tank. CONSTITUTION:Waste water is purified by the action of an aerobes in the main anaerobic treating device body 1. The waste water in the main body 1 is circulated through the inside of the scale deposition tank 11, the pH of the waste water circulated through the inside is made >=0.1 higher than that of the waste water in the main body 1 by adding an alkali or decreasing the CO2 partial pressure, and the content of the Mg<2+> ion in the waste water to be supplied to the main body 1 and to be treated is adjusted to <=150mg/l. The scale due to the supersaturated Mg<2+> ion in the waste water is deposited in the scale deposition tank, hence the trouble due to the scaling in the main body 1 and pipelines and the deterioration in the microbe carrying performance can be prevented, and the service life of the anaerobic treating device can be prolonged.</p> |
