PURPOSE:To obtain special yarns having a sheath-core structure of high count by the worsted spinning method, by feeding a sliver of a core part and plural slivers of a sheath part in parallel to the final gill, forming plural layers under specific conditions and spinning the slivers through a multilayer roving. CONSTITUTION:A sliver (Sa) to be a core part and slivers (Sb) and (Sc) to be a sheath part are fed in parallel to the final gill of the fore-spinning gill process and drafted. The slivers (Sb) and (Sc) are laminated to nip the sliver (Sa) coming out of front rolls (3a) and (3b) from above and below and form a multilayer sliver (Sm), which is then drafted in a bobbiner and subjected to rubbing action to form a multilayer roving (R) for spinning. |
