<p>A method for removing DNA from protein preparations is disclosed. A purified or partially purified protein preparation is incubated with a secondary or quaternary amine anion exchanger for an extended period of time, at high pH values and low salt concentrations, to yield a product suitable for human or animal use.</p> |
