Cleaner of the type consisting of an entry for waste water to a tank which has an overflow from which the water falls via a sloping grid, in which there are tubes, at least one, those which have full-cone nozzles which propel water, air or water vapour under pressure against the inner face of the grid and countercurrentwise being substantially horizontal and parallel. An external ramp arranged above, over the grid and a short distance from the latter, prevents splashing. <IMAGE>
