<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a large-sized liquid crystal display element which has no color shift regardless of the size of its display screen by printing and forming one to several lines of color filters corresponding to the picture elements of the display screen on a substrate at each time by the scanning of a printing unit under high-accuracy position control. CONSTITUTION:The printing unit 3 prints one to several lines of color filters 2 on the specific filter substrate 1 at each time while controlled in the line direction of the picture elements arrayed in a matrix. Every time, color filters 2 are printed in the line direction by the printing unit 3, the printing unit 3 is moved accurately at specific pitch perpendicularly to the lines to print one to several lines of color filters 2 repeatedly. Thus, the color filters 2 corresponding to the respective picture elements of the liquid crystal display element which constitute a large screen are printed in order with high accuracy. Consequently, the color filters which never cause trouble such as a color shift are easily obtained regardless of the size of the screen size.</p> |
