In the case of a fitting for doors, windows or the like, having a corner bearing and a retaining part which is mounted on the corner bearing and is fastened on the leaf/sash, the retaining part exhibits a scissors unit having a first and a second scissors member. The two scissors members are connected in an articulated manner, by means of in each case one end, to the corner bearing, and the retaining part is mounted at the two other ends of the scissors members.
