PURPOSE: To reduce the number of valves and simplify the constitution of device by connecting a wheel brake cylinder with a relief chamber of a compensating cylinder and closing the connection between a master cylinder pressure chamber and the relief chamber in the case of a slip control. CONSTITUTION: Relief chambers 123, 124, 133, 134 are connected with each other and are connected with pressure chambers 80, 90 of a master cylinder 13. A connection duct 72 connecting the relief chambers 124 and 134 and pressure chambers 124, 134 of the master cylinder 13 can be closed by a two-way and two-position direction control solenoid valve 71. This solenoid valve 71 is driven by a control signal of a central control unit 33 via a control line 63. When sensors 25 to 28 detect the lock of a wheel, the central control unit 33 simultaneously switch valves 39, 71, a movable wall 15 is moved, hydraulic pressure is discharged, the connection between the pressure chamber 80 and the relief chambers 124 and 134 is closed by the switching of the control valve 71 and at the same time, connections 73, 74 between the pressure chamber 90 and the relief chambers 123 and 133 are closed. |
