Solid pharmaceutical preparation The invention relates to a solid pharmaceutical preparation for oral administration, comprising as active substance a mixture of 9-deoxo-11-deoxy-9,11-¢imino¢2-(2-methoxyethoxy)ethylidene!-oxy!- (9S)-erythromycin intimately mixed with at least one basic excipient in a ratio of 1 mole of active substance to at least 2 gram-equivalents of said basic excipient and optionally also comprising one or more further pharmaceutical excipients, said active substance and basic excipient being provided with a gastric juice-resistant lacquer coating capable of releasing said active substance in a pH range of between 5.5 and 6.8. Such a solid pharmaceutical preparation produces high and long-lasting blood and tissue levels of the active substance.
