The use of bismuth compounds and tetracyclines in admixture for the manufacture of oral preparations for the treatment of disorders of the upper gastrointestinal tract, and pharmaceutical preparations containing said ingredients in admixture. Preferred bismuth compounds are colloidal bismuth subcitrate and bismuth subsalicylate. A preferred tetracycline is tetracycline-HCl. |
