Macromolecular conjugates of haemoglobin, method for preparing them and their applications

摘要

A novel water-soluble macromolecular conjugate of haemoglobin originating from the covalent coupling of haemoglobin and polysaccharides in such a way as to possess aldehyde functions, the conjugate being obtained by reaction with deoxyhaemoglobin in an oxygen-free medium. This conjugate of haemoglobin may be used as an oxygen carrier, in particular in the context of transfusions.
