An apparatus for mixing water and weed-killer in agricultural sprayers to a desired concentration comprises a water tank 1, a pump 2a for forcing water through a set of spray nozzles 4, and a tank 5 for weed- killer. A level-gauge tube 12 is provided with at least two sensors 13,14 for different levels therein. An adjustable governor valve 8 is connected up in a pipe 6 between the level-gauge tube 12 and the pipe 2 between the water pump 2a and the nozzles 4. A device 10 pressurizes the weed-killer in the weed-killer tank 5 and a control unit 15 controls the flow rate of the governor valve 8 in dependence upon the rate of dropping of the liquid level in the level-gauge tube 12. <IMAGE> |
