The attachment of a mower (11) to a tractor (18) comprises a three point coupling (1) made up of an upper member (5) and two lower members (6,7) linked together by a vertical member (2). The vertical member is in two parts hinged together on an horizontal pivot (14) which allows the mower to be tilted to an angle if required. A shear bolt (15) secures the two parts and it shears when the mower meets an obstruction, allowing it to swing out of the way. USE/ADVANTAGE - Damage to the mower is avoided by this safety device. |
