<p>A skirt board (20A, 20B, 20C) and mounting arrangement (28) to seal the side edges of a conveyor belt (11) to prevent the escape of material being conveyed. The skirt board sections (20A, 20B, 20C) include a pair of opposed side faces (21, 22), one of which is placed against a mounting surface (17). One of the faces (22) includes a specially constructed engagement surface (24) which is operative, when engaged by a stop (40) to permit the skirt board (20A, 20B, 20C) to be adjusted downwardly toward the conveyor belt (11) but prevents the skirt board (20A, 20B, 20C) from moving upwardly away from the belt (11). A clamp (28) secures the skirt board (20A, 20B, 20C) against a mounting surface (16).</p> |
