PURPOSE:To automatically receive and transmit information through on-line without manual operation, by providing a timer circuit setting the time of information transmission and reception and a start circuit in response to the output of the timer circuit and outputting the instruction of information transmission and reception to a terminal device. CONSTITUTION:A terminal device 4 is connected to a host computer 1 connected to a file 2 via a line 3 for the transmission and reception of information with the computer 1. A timer circuit 6 of the terminal device 4 is set with a time for information transmission and reception and the output of information transmission and reception is outputted from a start circuit 9 in response to the output of the circuit 6. An interruption controlling circuit 5 connected to a normal processing section 8 and the lines 3 is provided and a storage circuit 7 storing a telegraphic message is connected to the circuit 5. When the circuit 6 reaches a set time, a start signal is applied to the storage circuit 7 from the start circuit 9, the stored telegraphic message is transmitted to the computer 1 via the circuit 5, allowing to execute the transmission and reception of information automatically through on-line without manual operation. |
