The invention relates to a carrier for dough shapes which are to be baked, composed of a frame made up of wooden strips, in which crossmembers are introduced between two parallel side parts with a uniform spacing from one another, and of a fabric, nonwoven or the like which serves as a shelf for the dough shapes and seals the space enclosed by the frame. Sufficient ventilation, good support and mutual separation of the dough shapes are achieved in that the frame is inserted into a commercially available perforated baking sheet, in that the crossmembers of the frame are arranged at a small distance from the base of the perforated baking sheet, and in that the fabric, nonwoven or the like can be introduced exchangeably between the base of the perforated baking sheets and the crossmembers of the frame.
